Hashtags - Twemes.com TwitterChat.com

I am certain if you have been interested in learning to use Twitter you may have come across the name Mari Smith.

Mari is a Twitter expert. In this video she will open up the world of hashtags for you.

I am sure you have seen the Follow Friday hashtags that go around #FF. If you are new to Twitter you may have wondered what that is all about.

The social network is about people getting to know other people, and then recommending those people they like to their following. Friday is a celebration day - kind of a day of gratitude for a week of work over, and friendships that helped us get through it.

So on Twitter, Friday is the day we want to let everyone know how grateful we are to all the tweeple who sent us great tweets during the week. Thus we have the Follow Friday ritual.

But #FF is not the only hashtag, there are lots of them. And you can create your own to follow whatever type of tweets you enjoy most.

On this video Mari, will explain how to use: Twemes.com, TwitterChat.com, and Hashtags.org and show you how you can use them to learn more about any subject you prefer.

Twitter Tweet Gets Better with Twuffer

Personally Tweet Round The Clock

All right, hopefully you have gotten Bill Crosby's The Twitter Traffic Machine, the auto-pilot set-up that has taken me from an absent Twitter follower with a following of 3, to an active Twitter Tweeter with 2150+ followers 19 days later.

If you missed it and you don't have auto pilot Twitter Traffic so you can enjoy the beach, then get it now. http://bit.ly/1Q0o9

Today, I'm going to tell you about another great Twitter app site - Twuffer.com

With Twuffer you pre-set your personal tweets for round the clock tweeting.

Be careful not to overdue it, or you will lose followers.

Here are two things to keep in mind to use Twuffer responsibly and keep your followers happy.

1) All your followers will not be online at the same time, so to repeat your messages every hour over a few days will give everyone a chance to know about something you have.

2) But some tweeters do stay on top of things and will not want you sending the same message over and over again, so make sure to rotate messages. Develop three headlines and rotate them. If you do this over three days, make sure to change the rotation each day, so no message occurs at the same hour during your three day campaign.

Good luck with Twuffer. I have found it invaluable.

Oh and here is one friends review on the Twitter Traffic Machine
I have personally auto piloted from 3 followers on May 3 to over 2100 on May 22 See the whole video with- Bill Crosby.

Twitter - How to Tweet

Twitter Secrets - http://bit.ly/1Q0o9

In April, as President of Northern California Publishers & Authors, I attended our Annual NCPA Publishing Conference. There I had the great good fortune to meet keynote speaker, John Kremer (1001 Ways To Publish Your Book.)

John is an exceptional man, kind hearted, soft spoken, and meticulous with details. At our conference he spoke about the hottest technology on the web today - social networking with Twitter.

He shared how he has taken his bookmarketing.com website to an Alexa rating uder 100,000. Who is Alexa? It is a company that tracks the number of hits every website gets, and then rates them accordingly. To be rated in the top 100,000 websites in the world is a phenomenal achievement.

Though John has been getting the word out about how to market indie books for over twenty years, his website recently exploded through his efforts using Twitter.

Naturally I wanted to ask John how he achieved this. I figured he must have some amazing SEO (search engine optimization) company that keeps his website on top, and also may have taught him how to effectively use Twitter. I wanted details.

John told me he did not use any SEO company. He said he has over 124 keywords for his site, and he does not bother with search engine optimization anymore. Google rates websites high because of their rich content. With hundreds of valuable marketing tips carefully categorized on his site, John easily gets Google's attention.

He said he learned Twitter through research.

Since he had mentioned during his talk, that he had a special course for learning Twitter, I wanted to take advantage of that. John said to visit his site: tenmillioneyeballs.com for all the details.

When I got home, I checked out his page, it looked like a complete course in the art of twitter for book publishers. The cost was reasonable considering all that might be involved, and knowing John's meticulous nature. But being a small publisher, I have always forced myself not to jump, but to give myself a 24 hour cooling off period before spending over $100 on anything for my publishing house. It would be easy to go overboard spending. The cost of John's program is only $500, which for a publisher with several titles is easy to justify, but for me with only one title in circulation, that equates to a lot of book sales.

As I pondered this for 24 hours, I continued to research Twitter on the net, and came across Bill Crosby. A teacher who has set up Twitter Learning Videos that he calls "The Twitter Traffic Machine" He offers a money back guarantee and the cost is only $27. How could I turn that down.

I did not have to sleep on that proposition, so I made an immediate purchase and began watching and impletmenting everything Crosby taught.

What I discovered has been nothing less than amazing. Twitter is only the top of a volcano filled with hot streaming possibilities. Bill's videos teach you step by step how to:
  • Start on Twitter
  • Set up automatic responses through tweetlater,
  • Develop rich relevant content through google alerts,
  • Channel that content into rss feeds
  • Shorten the urls through bit.ly, which not only shortens them, but tracks where, who and when they are opened.
  • Add then send those feeds to twitterfeed, so your feeds automatically are sent to your twitter account.
  • And then use twitterkarma, to follow or unfollow tweeple.

I searched for the last four months for a way to understand the social network of twitter. I suspected I would get what I needed at our conference, from John Kremer, a master teacher and an exceptional marketer. I want to thank him, because if he had not shared the way twitter has helped him, I would not have taken the next step. I am still considering taking his course. Why you may say? Because once you know John Kremer, you know he has left no stone unturned. He knows what is out there and he will keep you up to date as new technologies develop.

But for now I'm watching my twitter account grow. In just three days I went from 3 followers to over 300.
Bill Crosby indicates with his system, you should have over 16,000 followers in 90 days, and it seems I am on my way to doing just that.

What have I gained thus far?

Not just followers, I have sent out four books to reviewers, who have nice followings, and book review blogs. As I continue I am certain I will send out more. If you want to test out the videos I have used from Bill Crosby, here is a link: http://bit.ly/1Q0o9
